They are catered for consumers who are looking for a tiny desktop to perform simple computing tasks such as running simple applications, checking your e-mail, surfing the web and word processing. Both these models come with a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom processor, a 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM. Both these new models are also now capable of playing HD movies and they come complete with a HDMI port.

Both models performed well in handling simple everyday computing tasks (so long as you keep your expectations realistic). Another highlight of these two models would be their price. Although both models are relatively cheap (with the Asus Eee Box HD priced at $359), Acer seems eager to dominate the nettop market with its pricing. The Acer AspireRevo is currently retailing at just $199!
